Mums and Mistletoe Market
Creativity is abound at the Mums and Mistletoe Market put on by the women of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Lake Jackson, Texas!
I have attended large Christmas markets such as The Nutcracker Market in Houston, Texas, and I have to say there is every bit as much creative talent flowing at this little small town market in Lake Jackson, Texas.
I was so impressed I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things at the market. All of these items that I am highlighting are hand-made by the vendors.
These unique deco mesh wreaths and many others, as well as deco mesh trees, can be found at www.allthelittlethings.org The best part is they are a non-profit organization and their profits go toward supplies for a day rehab facility for developmentally disabled adults. These developmentally disabled adults have a hand in helping to make these crafts! Aren’t they precious?
Diane from Fragments, Perfectly Flawed has the best ideas! Don’t you love the “JOY” sign made from gloves? Also, can you tell that this flower is made from a softball? She has so many unique and beautiful hand-made items. Don’t miss her at www.perfectlyflawedfragments.com
I adore these unique picture frames because it is so easy to change out your picture frequently. Unfortunately, Penny only makes these for the craft shows she attends, however, they do make these cute little tutu bags year round as well as personalized children’s books. You can email her at email@example.com.
These mosaic tiled art pieces can be custom made with your name, house number, favorite college or team, or just about anything you want! They would make a wonderful personalized gift! You can email the artist, Paula, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 281-202-9195.
Heavenly Touches creates lots of beautiful accessories. This teal burlap wreath was one of my favorites. I also love the simple idea of ribbon and crosses on glass bottles and glass blocks with lights inside. You can email them at email@example.com.
This gorgeous table plus these sconces and crosses are hand-crafted from wine barrels. You can even see the original stamping on the table top. The owners Herb and Lori make many beautiful woodcrafts from wine barrels. Their website is www.winebarrelwoodcrafts.com
I hope you enjoyed the Mums and Mistletoe Market as much as I did!
