Are You Scared Of Color?

I am admittedly a neutral girl! I think neutral spaces are so calming and cozy. However, I appreciate and love the look of color as well. So how do you safely marry the two?

My advice is to have a neutral backdrop and just add pops of your favorite colors. A neutral backdrop can stand the test of time, and pops of color in your accessories can easily be changed with the seasons.

Our love of a color can change with the different seasons of our lives. You may love blues and yellows now, but then next year start desiring the look of bright red. With DIY projects and budget-friendly stores that carry decorative accessories, you can inexpensively and easily change the look and feel of your home with simple pops of color.

Maybe purple is your new love. We all know that decorative pillows are a great way to add color, but a purple ottoman is a great use of color here as well.

Green symbolizes nature, growth, and harmony. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with green accents!

Who doesn’t love all shades of blue? What a great idea to paint the legs of a table.

I adore these tastefully done orange accents! It looks like the frames on the
bookshelves don’t actually contain photos, but you could easily use colored matting
in frames for a great blast of color.
